Spring Wedding Flowers

Amidst the strange spring we’ve had, with rain and a bit more rain, springtime delights have never felt more needed than right now. –  and with that the exquisite spring flowers.  Spring is a great time of year to get married and the flower possibilities are endless, plus it is the start of the peony season.

Picture delicate snowdrops peeping through the thawing earth, cheerful daffodils swaying in the breeze, and elegant tulips unfurling their petals like delicate works of art. Fragrant hyacinths perfume the air, while the late we get into spring hawthorn flowers and cow parsley bedeck the hedgerows in a tapestry of floral opulence.

Spring wedding bouquets come alive with a symphony of texture and colour– Muscari, Tulips, Hyacinth, Poppies, Hellebores, and Ranunculus – each a testament to nature's artistry and the promise of new beginnings.

When it comes to colour, I'm drawn to a palette of crisp whites with hints of blue and whispers of yellow – a timeless combination that exudes elegance and sophistication. And oh, the scent of paperwhites, I like to use them in my spring bouquets, the smell of them in the future will always take you back to your special day.

While British blooms may take their time to grace us with their presence, their allure is unmatched. Each stem tells a story of authenticity and natural beauty, eschewing the uniformity of mass-produced flowers for a more refined elegance.

Gone are the days of predictable rose-centric arrangements. Spring weddings invite us to embrace creativity, to explore the myriad possibilities of floral design. From whimsical bouquets in vintage urns to cascading arches adorned with trailing vines, every arrangement is a masterpiece, effortlessly weaving nature's bounty into the fabric of the celebration.

So, as you embark on your wedding planning journey and are thinking of a spring time wedding, let the beauty of nature be your guide. For it is a special time of new beginnings, love, laughter, and eternal elegance and pure beauty.
